Using the concept of overlapping volumes, the lobby of this hotel appears to be floating over a trickling stream of water that creates a calming sound as soon as you enter the hotel. This sharp contrast to the busy city square is meant to alleviate any stress from the outside environment. Volumes that mimic the architecture of the building continue inside and wrap their way around the interior from the lobby into the more intimate spaces such as the guest bedrooms and suites, creating a harmonious feel throughout the entire hotel.
